Non Disclosure?

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Florida

I bought my house and have lived in it for four years now. Currently, I have roof leakage (not caused by any storm or hurricane).

Recently, I had a contractor come out and give a me a quote. My
neighbor saw this and came out side. He stated to me that the old owner of
my house had the same problem in the same location several years back.
You see, I own a townhouse that is attached to one other unit. The
owner of the attached unit came out and asked me about the leakage,
because last time, the same leakage caused problems in his unit.

At closing nor at any time, did the seller ever disclosed to me that
the house had any prior roof leakage or past repair. Can I hold the
old owner liable for non disclosure? And if so, is it worth my time, court
costs, etc.?

Thank you!

**A: contact an attorney since there are various factors that come into play to determine if you have a case or not. Some of these factors include the time period by which you discovered the problem, what was stated on the seller disclosure statement, whether you got a home inspection, the CC&R's if any**************.....
