| I wish to sell my home "by owner". The agent we are dealing with in Illinois told me that w/i 7 days of writting an offer for a home listed in the MLS I, "by MLS law", must list my home with an agent and be put in the MLS if I could not sell it w/i that 7 days. |

| 1. If "by owner", why do you have an agent? 2. If "by owner", you do not have MLS access and therefore your property would not be listed in MLS. 3. There is no such 7 day rule and in fact, there is no such MLS law. That agent is full of crap. Please tell that agent to post the MLS law here. I would like to read the law for myself. |
