is our agent acting in our best interest


What is the name of your state? CA We are using the seller's agent. Our agent has threatened our lender to put our house back on the market if we don't agree to and pay the escrow fees. Is our agent acting in our best interest and do we have any recourse if he is not? Our lender wanted to use company A and the agent insisted on company B. Company B's fees are much higher than the good faith estimates provided by both companies. We were questioning the fees in attempt to lower them. Now, our agent is threatening to put the house back on the market. Is this legal, what can we do?

**A: please be advised that "your agent" is not your agent but rather the agent of the Seller. Did you sign a dual agency agreement with the brokerage company? Please read it carefully.
