peronal info given out by sellers agent

Alaska

The listing agent for the seller contacted some non-conventional loan personell which he knew and gave them information about our monetary and physical situation without our consent. These people were calling myself and my husband at home and at work and telling us that they knew our situation and would be able to help. The contract to buy the home was specifically contingent upon conventional financing, and when it turned out that it would not be an option, this agent began giving out our information to private/personal investors. This same agent also refused to show a final agreement in which we offered to rent the home for up to six months and then buy it. Another agent took over the sale the next week and back dated all of the listings so that it showed that he was the agent in charge, and slowed the process of the recision for 40 more days.
The sellers first agent come to find out was release by the company over all of this.
Any ideas if I have any legal grounds over this?
If you read through this please let me know what you think..
Thank you

How would they know your financial situation? More than likely they gave a synopsis (this buyer is looking to buy a home at this price and needs financing for this much...). Unless YOU told them information, they don't know anything about you.

The mortgage person is trying to get your business, and will need to ask every signle question on the applications, because he doesn't have it.

We had a 90% letter sent to our sellers agent, then come to find out I make more commisions in my salary and haven't been with the company more than 18 months,, we were not qualified anymore.
So we went through our agent , let him know the situation and asked to send a letter to the seller to see if we could lease it for 6 months until i reached my 18 month stage at the job....
When the sellers agent read this, all of a sudden we had 3 private investors on us through the sellers agent contacting us at work, home, ect and that they had been told by the agent what our situation was.
all this based upon our contract stating to get the loan through conventional

They still don't "know" any of your personal information. They cannot do anything with whatever little information they were given.

Contact the agent's broker(s) and file a formal complaint. If that doesn't resolve the issue, file a complaint with the state board of realtors

For what monetary gain or to have them state reprimanded?
