Please help.

Here is my issue in a nutshell. Buying first home. Made offer, offer accepted. Aranged loan, signed all papers and was told loan was done. Told closing would be on the 16th. Week later got call from lender saying all partys would like to close on the 12th. Said sounds good, the sooner the better. Get call on the 9th from lender saying the underwriter quit and now the loan may not go through. WHAT? We were alredy told to start packing and be ready to move everything was all set, just waiting for the closing date.. The seller has alredy moved out and is in a new place because he was told it was a done deal by realator per lender. We are all packed and ready to go also per info from lender and agent. Now we have to wait untill the morning of the 12th, the day of the closing to find out if we will still get the loan. Now we may not have a place to live, and the seller will have two places to worry about. This does not seem right. Is there a chance of this going through? If not is there anything that I can do to make it right? Thanks in advance! What is the name of your state?

Have not explored this option yet. Good idea.

If you do it, don't put any money into fixing up the house - even painting.
Wait until it's in your name.

Good luck.
