Hello,
My husband and I purchased a home 5+ years ago. The previous owner left furniture (and lots of junk we carted to the dump!) and now he has contacted us and would like several nice pieces back. Does anyone know if he has any legal right to do this? We did a standard purchase and sales agreement....there was no stipulation that he could have the stuff back at some future date. Is there some kind of standard law state to state to prevent this? Any help is appreciated- this man is a lawyer and is threatening to take us to court! Thank you,
