Property Dispute

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? OHIO

Hi,
I'm an out of state investor whom had recently won bid on a property via ebay to purchase a duplex in USA OH in my offshore compnay's name. I had transfered the money to an escrow title agency. When I send a property manager to the subject property, he reported that the property is not as described by the seller. ( missing furnaces, electricals, tenant, loading the back taxes to me etc...) Based on the information, I decided to back out of the deal as I felt scammed. This is the first time I encountered such legal issue and I believe USA to be investor friendly, please help.

1. What can I do to get my money back?

2. The seller subsequently had applied to a court for a motion to freeze my money in escrow and sue to me to get my other USA asset? (is it legal?)

What is my remedy? Thanks x a million

Thank you very much.

What would be my estimated cost?

Would I be able to counterclaim the seller for punitive damage and cover my legal cost?

Since the seller threatened to place lien on my other properties in US, can I similarly place liens of his other properties? What will be the likely outcome if i proceed with the trial?

do you need any info to access the case?
