Question

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NH. My mom had income property and when she passed it went into her estate along with the rent collected. This property is coming out of her estate in both my brothers and my name. I really don't want anything to do with the house I think it will be more trouble than its worth but my brother wants it. He agreed to to give me money each month to avoid getting a loan. Is there a way to just sign over the house to him with out getting a realestate company or lawyers into it. I asked at the court house but the lady said she can't give leagal advise

If this property was paid off at the time your mom died you can have a attorney draw up for you a contract for deed so your brother can buy your share of the house from you. The contract would be recorded then all he has to do is pay you monthly installments until its paid off!

we did the probate without a lawyer. my girlfreinds cousine is a paralegal and he helped us out some. i'll hate to go back to him with this he put some time in on her probate and didn't charge us. the plan was we were going to sell it but my brother decided he didn't want to. he's in construction as well as myself and wants the steady income. I'd rather have the money each month and not have to worry about who didn't pay their rent, and the maintenace. i have all have to do with my own house.

What? Am I reading this correctly?

You were literally handed $135K and you are too tight-fisted to pay a lawyer a couple of hundred bucks to draw up a firm secured arrangement with your brother!

Then why don’t you get on the Internet, find and print out a quitclaim deed form and give him the whole bundle. That truly takes the cake.
