Question

question regarding home title

What is the name of your state? Texas

Fiance' is purchasing a house now in Texas. When we get married will he be able to add my name to the house or will it have to stay in his name only. And how do we go about doing it?

**A: have him ask the mortgage lender as there may be a due on sale or transfer clause.

**A: did you not take sex education classes in school?

**A: if there is such a clause, once the mortgage loan is made and there is a change to the property title, the lender has a right to call the loan due.
