I am half owner of a house. I wish to sell, the other half owner does not. The other half owner is not willing to buy out my half. How do I sell my half of this property? Do I need to get a lawyer and sue the other half owner? Are there investment or real estate speculators who would by the other half of the property? What do I do to get rid of my half of this property so I can get my money out and move on?

If the other owner does not want to sell the property, then hire an atorney to file a partition action.
