Real Estate CloserWhat is the name of your state? Florida I'm processing a file where the husband was the only one that signed the contract. Can i legally add the wife to the title of the house even if she did not sign the contract. Thanks ![]() |

| Are you doing this on your own or with the husband's permission? |

| You are the closer - right. Since the husband is the only name on the contract - you WILL need permission from him before adding the wifes name to the title. Don't you have an attorney as a supervisor or boss?

No kidding. The title company you are closing for should have an attorney available to them to review the situation and documents in total and advise.
