Real Estate commision

Sorry, first time user. I am a builder being sued by an agent for a commission on a sale that feel through when buyers failed to close (they are going through divorce). Agent knew I would probably not re-list home with her.

I feel she did not meet the goal of having "a ready, willing and able buyer" come to the table. The buyers did eventually forfeit their deposit. And I believe that greed has now entered this event. Any thoughts.

I signed a standard Hartford County realtors agreement listing. I have passed this on to my attorney but, would like any thoughts on this issue, Thanks

**A: the contract should specify how much the agent gets from the forfeited deposit.
