Real estate foreclosureWhat is the name of your state? Ohio We purchased a house at a Sheriff's sale for mortgage foreclosure. We've filed the necessary paperwork to have the people evicted. Ohio law indicates that you could possibly have to move their personal property to a storage facility for 30 days and pay for it. In order to get a storage facility, we had to put it in our name and pay for 30 days. On Saturday, we did in fact have to move the personal property to a storage facility. I have several questions: 1. What happens after the 30 days if they do not claim their personal belongings? I do not want our credit rating hurt because they do not claim their belongings. 2. If after 30 days, is the personal property now ours and we can dispose of as we see fit. |

Real Estate ForeclosureSorry to be so dense, I'm new to this, so I'm not sure how to interpret your answer. Your answer "read the Ohio L/T Law". What is L/T law? Where would I find the L/T Law? Any additional information you could provide would be greatly appreciated. |
