real estate reniging on word

the state we reside in is nsw and our problem is this. we have paid .25% deposit on a house we wish to purchase and have paid to have pest and building inspections done on the urging of the real estate agent who organised them for us and have arranged approved finance and are just waiting for the balance of the cheque to come through which will be available in the next one or two days guaranteed by our bank. We were told by the real estate agent on two seperate occasions since we agreed with the vendor on a price that no one else will be shown through the property and that the only people who would be able to submit an offer were the people who had already viewed the property. The real estate agent advised us today that now they are going to have an open house this saturday because it has already been advertised for two weeks so other people can view the property. Where do we stand in regards to this matter that the real estate agent has done a complete turn around on what he promised us.

Please help

thanks to all who can offer us advice
