What is the name of your state? Alaska We recently signed a purchase agreement on a FSBO home. The seller hired a mortgage closer to handle the contracts. Now the seller has decided not to sell and has offered to reimburse us for what we paid for a home inspection. We still want the house - aren't they legally obligated to complete the purchase agreement contract??

**A: it depends. If you have a signed contract and all contingencies have been met, you may be able to file for specific performance.
