Refinance with possible foreclosure

Maine

My husband lost his job 5 months ago and just now started working again. We tried to sell our second home and since that hasn't worked we want to refinance to pay off our past due bills and keep the house. We are having trouble getting approved because either the house was on the market within 6 months or the credit situation. Can anyone recommend a place we can get approved? At this point I don't care if it's loan sharks! I am starting a new job and will be making enough money to get our bills in order and eventually refinance again. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
