refinancing

What is the name of your state? Massachusets

I was in the process of refinancing my mortgage and paid fee for appraisal to mortgage broker(middle man). But at the closing I was ask to pay additional fees that nobody told me before.So I exsercise my right to cancel that loan.Should they refund my payment for appraisal?

**A: no because the appraiser did the job and needs to get paid. If you have a complaint with the mortgage broker, take it up with the State mortgage broker's licensing office.
