Refinancing my homeWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Maryland my husband and i want to refinance our home. we can get a better interesr rate if we put the loan in his name only. the lending broker says it shouldn't make any difference because my name is still on the deed. Is this correct? The problem is I have my name on another house with my daughter. |

| I think the 'problem' is the additional mortgage is hurting OP's credit but not her husband's.

| **A: maybe you're right but the OP did not say if only she or both her and the husband is on the mortgage. |
