I am planning on hiring a local handyman to finish my partial finished basement. I want to know if when I am ready to sell my house will it automatically increase the property value? Will the square footage change and will the listing list finished basement and more square footage? Will the additional bathroom and bedroom be listed? Or do I need paperwork or is there something I need to do before I get started?
