Sales aggrement ? property as is??

What is the name of your state? Massachusetts

There is a rider on my P&S for a single family property that says the property is being sold as is. I've had a satisfactory home inspection and found inactive bug damage and I'm being compesated for treatment of the bugs. Should I be concerned about that statement? I'll have a warrenty on the bugs. Is this a usual kind of statement ? A red flag?

**A: what statement? Are you referring to the "as-as" rider? If so, many broker's make it general practice to use the as-is clause.

Number 32. Property is being sold "as is."

This is all by itself on a rider attached to my P&S.



I mentioned the other stuff because of the above statement. The warranty will be from the treatment by the bug company.


Is number 32 normal on a p&s?

I don't know about #32 and I'm not in your state. Have a local attorney review your contract.
