Seller RetractsWhat is the name of your state? California We just made an offer on a house in the LA area at "asking price." We have signed the offer documents and they were presented to the seller. The seller has now decided to ask for more money or they will not sell the house to us. Is this legal according to California real estate laws? If not, what should we do next? Thanks. |

| RE Broker in Kansas: If the Seller never signed your Offer to purchase, which he can do......you do not have an agreement. If you have received a signed contract back from the Seller, you are in a better situation to seek alternatives to make him PERFORM the contract. A contract is "a meeting of the minds." If this doesn't work out and if you don't have a RE Agent, or REALTOR.....GET ONE! You need someone on YOUR side. |
