Seller is trying to back out!?

What is the name of your state? California

We are currently in escrow on a home. Both the seller and I have completed all of the necessary paperwork. The seller has even signed the deed and had it notorized. Two weeks before the close of escrow the seller wants to back out. Anyone ever heard of this? Is it still possible to get this home? I scheduled an appt. with an attorney, but I was hoping for some advise from someone with a similiar situation.

**A: have all the contingencies been met from your end and are you ready to close? If so, you can file for breach of contract and for specifc performance .
