Seller want's to back out of deal

What is the name of your state? Missouri

We made an offer on a house and the Seller took it.
Now he wants to back out of the deal.

We didn't sign any Contract, and it was a verbal acceptance of our offer.
We didn't use a Realtor & didn't put any earnest money down as we were going to be 100% financed.

We really want the house, and are upset that the seller backed out.
What can we do legally,,, if anything ??

Thanks in AdvanceWhat is the name of your state?

You're out of luck! Verbal contract doesn't hold much in court. And since there's no written contract, they have the right to back out.
