| Seller won't provide an easement We are buying a house in New Jersey and after the survey we found that the house is 5 feet too close to the street due to the city widening the street. Also, the blacktop driveway crosses into the neighbors property by 6 inches or so. We went to the seller and told them they needed to get the ok from the city for the house being too close to the street and provide and easement for the driveway. They replied by saying that it isn't a big deal and it has been that way for years so they are going to do anything, if we want them we need to get them ourselves. Is this our responsibility? |
