Selling AZ property

What is the name of your state?Arizona

In 1981 I purchased a home in Arizona with my parents and my girlfriend. She signed using my last name . We are no longer together and I have since remarried. I am selling the property and have no problem getting everyone to sign off but the girlfriend is long gone and if she could be found my last name was not hers. How do I go about clearing this up. We have been apart for 20+ years and she has never made any attempt to claim any part of the property or even attempt to contact me.

Check your state laws on "Descent and Distribution."

If you are using a title company, they deal with this alot and know what exactly has to happen.

Get legal advice from an attorney if that doesn't work.

"Usually a person can publish an article in the legal county newpaper for a certain period of time (30-60-90 days) and if there's no response, you can have her removed."

Additionally,

Thinking out loud.....

I might as well inform you. Just because you can get ahold of her...her heirs maybe entitled to her share**************
