Mom mom's mobile home is in the name of herself and my deceased father. My father spend two years in a nursing home supported by medicare.

My question is: If my mom sells the home, can Medicare come in and place a lien on what might be owed for caring for my father if it's in both of their names?

My mother is reluctant to sell the home for fear of losing everything.

Thank you, Chris
