Septic system raised mound location?

What is the name of your state? Pennsylvania

My wife and I are in the process of having a house built in the Poconos, PA. We are annoyed at our builder because they placed the septic raised dirt mound right in the center of our back yard. We were never involved with the process/location of this unit. I checked with the local town and was informed that the builder hires a septic consultant, informs the town and the home owners.
WE WERE not involed in this process and I feel our rights have been violated. We were planning on putting a pool in the middle of our back yard? Also, the builder sent us an additional bill for $5500 (not included in the contract) stating that the system had to be larger per state regulations. I am not disputing the state's finding's, I am annoyyed that the builder did not notify us that this system was going to cost more than the original contract? The land perc test was done months before I did the final closing to have the house built. I feel our right's were violated again, and feel the bulider did not notify us of this change because they were afraid of us canceling the contract and looking for a diffrent piece of land? Any help or advise on this situation would be most helpful and greatly appreciated.

Hire an attorney to help settle the issues or file litigation.

**A: against the builder, whom you have a construction contract with.
