I recently sold a home in Florida. I believe the home had a structural defect and I did not disclose this to the buyer. I am not sure of the significance of the defect and was not asked about it. The buyer had the right to a structural inspection but did not get one done.
I have not heard anything from the buyer but am concerned that I should have disclosed this. What were my obligations and what are my liabilities should the buyer decide this was my fault? Is there a time limitation on the buyer's right to come back after me?
Wondering and a little worried in Florida.
