Swimming pool attachments

What is the name of your state? Minnesota

I am selling my home that has an in ground swimming pool. Are the diving board and ladder considered attachment to the property or are they just accessories?

The buyers purchase agreement does not include any of the pool accessories, vacuums, hoses etc.

They have been jerking me around on closing for a month now so I am planning on not leaving any of those items for their use and have the question regarding the diving board and ladder.

This is right up there with the seller (a broker in my old office sold the place)that took the free standing, vented through the ceiling, family room fireplace right out from under the fireplace vent pipe in a family room because nobody technically "included" the fireplace in the offer.

Hell, let's go one step further. I'm sure that no one stated in the purchase contract that the pool would be suitable for swimming. So, why not fill it with 17 tons of fresh topsoil?

**A: yes and depending upon who the competition is and whether the female got a boob job, the squishiness feel may be the same.

Swimming pool

Thanks for the advice. I didn't think of draining the pool.
I wasn't searching for a bunch of smart ass answers.
Also, I didn't relay the whole story.
Because these people keep changing their closing date to suit their own selfish desires I LOST THE HOUSE I WAS BUYING! Now I have to close on this one and I HAVE NO PLACE TO GO WITH ALL OF MY STUFF AND TWO DOGS!
I have made every concession possible for these jerks and got screwed over for it so please tell me why I should still Ms. Nicey Nice!

Including the diving board has nothing to do with "being nice". Unless you specifically EXCLUDED it, the presumption is that it is included. We are not talking leaf skimmers and life savers here. You are talking pool ladders and diving boards. Do you really want to ADD legal problems to your woes? Its not worth it!

You came here for legal adivce, what you wanted was advice on how to get revenge and didn't even tell us what you really wanted. What you asked made no sense. So why don't you start over and ask the question you really want to ask. Then you will get some smart answers. BTW Do you drain it in winter? It doesn't double for ice hocky does it? Just curious.

That's what I'm trying to find out. Whether or not it would be legal.
I'm not trying to be vindictive. If it is legal to do this then I will offer to sell the stuff to them. Which is what I plan to do about the other items. Was just wondering if I could include the diving board and ladder in these items.

I would also like to thank all you who jumped the gun and assumed I was being a bad person.

Like nextwife said the board and ladder unless taged go with the pool, that is obvious.

You really have another question and that is what can you legally do for the loss you have suffered by their delays, Right? So do like on Jeopardy, and make it in the form of a question.

Somehow I have a feeling there is a communication problem here.
