I signed a contract in Texas to sell my home, and one day later decided I did not want to sell. The buyers placed a 7 day close date, and I was pressured. They threatened to sue based on performance. However, I had not sent the Third Party Financing Condition Addendum document back with my signature. The contract even references the addendum. If I refuse to close on the house, can they sue me even though the addendum had not been signed and returned as a required part of the contract? They've sent inspectors, and I am agreeable to pay inspectors. Please advise. |
