| i would like to know what the time limit on getting a counter offer from the seller is. I have been put off on their counter offer because of 2 other appointments for the house to be looked at. can they look at any other offers before comming to an agreement with mine?? and how long can they wait before comming back with an offer? |

| Your questions do not really make sense but I know what you are asking. When you as a Buyer make an offer, the Seller is not obligated to make a counter offer if your offer is unacceptable. If the Seller does make a counter offer, there is no time limit on the part of the Seller. Sounds like you really need the help of a Realtor. [Edited by HomeGuru on 04-16-2001 at 08:12 PM] |

| You can however, put as part of the contract that the offer is only good until xx date. Whilst this does not force the seller to counter, it puts a little added pressure on them to progress the offer or lose it.
