Title InsuranceWhat is the name of your state? New Jersey Our property was originally deeded to my wife and I. It was later transferred to my wife only. 22 months later a judgment was entered against me in MJ Superior Court. We now want to sell our house and I'm told that I may have trouble getting title insurance. Anyone know if that is the case? Thanks |

| The judgment was the result of an out-of court settlement which I defaulted on several years prior to the deed transfer. Just couldn't pay anymore. |
