Undiscovered Sewer Damage after Home Purchase

What is the name of your state? pa. i purchased a home 3 months ago and our sewer line leading from the house to the main sewer line was clogged and just broke. the line is 12ft. underground outside of the house. at the time of inspection, everything was ok, however no major sewer check was done. do i have any right now to pursue legal action against the previous homeowner?

**A: what did the drain contractor tell you as to how long the condition existed, should the Seller have known etc.? What was noted on the seller disclosure statement? What did your Realtor tell you to do now?
