Walk thru items not fixed 3 months later

What is the name of your state? Iowa

We purchased a newly constructed home in June. The walk thru was completed a day before closing. However, we are still waiting for the seller to fix the items from our walk thru. Our other neighbors who also bought homes from the same company are also waiting for their walk thru's to be fixed.

We have talked with the seller on numerous occasions and never get any results. Is there any thing we can do to get this completed? We're getting frustrated. Thanks for the help!

This is not "professional advice" just my experience with new construction and builders.

Generally, the builder asks the purchaser to keep a "punch list" of things that need to be corrected and will come back and fix these items within a 6-12 month time frame. If it gets close to the 1 year mark and you haven't seen or heard from him, you may want to have your attorney write him a letter.
