Angry

what a mess.....

What is the name of your state? nj

let me start here. i received an offer on my home approx 2 weeks ago. we signed the contracts and the buyer put his money in escrow. he had a home inspection on friday 11/11. after the home inspection there were several repairs that had to be made by 11/18 (closing date) in a panic not to lose the deal i had all of the repairs completed by 11/16. well the buyer never showed for the closing on 11/18.

not only did he not purchase the house.... the house i was going to purchase is now in jeopordy. what liability is the buyer responsible for other than his deposit.

You could possibly force the buyer to buy the land but it may take several years before it is concluded.

The best advice I can give you is to get it back on the market as soon as possible (and, of course, get the bad guy's deposit).

Yes get it back on the market.

But. . .what happened to the buyer. Is this a FSBO deal? If so did you keep in contact with the buyer up until closing? What did the lender say? The title company? There's a big hole in the story.

Thers No Holes...... He Never Complied. He Stopped The Title Search, Failed To Have A Commitment Letter And Decided He Didnt Want To Purchase The Property After I Dropped 5,000.00 In Repairs.
