| This is a wild one I live in Georgia and was trying to buy a house from FNMA. Long story short. The house had been added on to and the new part was on the neighbors land. I had already had the house inspected and appraised before survey was done. The neighbor would not sell or trade any land so I had no other choice than to cancel the purchase. Can I get any of my money back from the appraisal and inspection? I think FNMA is suing the original bank than loaned the money to owners for the addition.
