This is a wild one

I live in Georgia and was trying to buy a house from FNMA. Long story short. The house had been added on to and the new part was on the neighbors land. I had already had the house inspected and appraised before survey was done. The neighbor would not sell or trade any land so I had no other choice than to cancel the purchase. Can I get any of my money back from the appraisal and inspection? I think FNMA is suing the original bank than loaned the money to owners for the addition.

Sorry, that's the cost and risks associated with putting an offer in to buy real estate.
