The age at which a child will be listened to by the court is 14. The child doesn't make the decisions, of course, but what the child says is given weight at that age.
However, unless you have a child abuser/loser parent, you really should try to forge some kind of relationship with your non-custodial parent.
Otherwise, you're always going to have that unresolved issue hanging over your head the rest of your life.
And the Indiana Parenting Time Guidelines require the custodial parent to make every effort possible to make the child go see the NCP.
So, you'll make it easier on BOTH your parents if you willingly.
