My name is grace, I live in MO....my daughter is 9 months old. I am oblviously a single parent. I work and also raising my child on my own with my older son who is 4. I was recently divorced and had a poor judge of character when I dated my daughters father, who is now in prison. I was unaware of his criminal history until it was too late and before I knew it he left and was on the run...and then off to prison. I come from a large family who is very supportive. And my children are always cared for. This person is a troubled individuale who has now been in prison twice. Now I am recieving threats from him in there that I need to be prepared for when he gets out because he is going to get joint custody of my daughter....he won't be getting out until she is 2 1/2. She does not have his last name and I am also scared that if I recieve support from him I will have to change it. He comes from a well off family....but he is a constant drug abuser which is part of why he is in prison. Can he really do these things or is he blowing smoke? I would greatly appreciate the input! thank you!
