My brother is on child support for one of three kids he has with his girlfried. The only thing is they share a home and expenses, is this legal? Is there anyway he can be reimbursed the child support that's been coming out of his paycheck? Now that they've broken up she is threatening to put the other kids on child support, can he beat her to the punch?

Yes it is legal, especially if when they were living together the reason she obtained support was because the state went after him when she filed for state aid.
If your brother was living there and there was any type of state fraud happening he is just as guilty.

As for obtaining support for the other two, yes she can do that.

If your brother had wanted the support to stop, he should have notified the courts they were living together. But he didnt, and now it is too late. Besides, he actually was enjoying the support he paid also, he was living there and reaping the benefits of his own support payments.
