Minnesota,

Evaluator has requested a CD evaluation (for both EX and myself) from the local mental health clinic.

Now the EX's attorney claims that since he spent time on the board of directors at that clinic, that there would be a conflict of interest having the CD assessments performed there.

The custody evaluator regularly uses and preferrs this clinic.
My attorney Thinks that this would not sway the results.

The EX's attorney has suggested a counselor that is "suspected" of not finding "anyone" to be CD.

The costody evaluator REFUSES the EX's atty's suggestion.

Methinks there be stinkiness about.Any opinions??

specifically:

Would this really be a conflict of interest?
Doesn't the evaluator have the final say?
Why wouldn't the ex's atty want to be "in"?
Why does my atty insist on the standard clinic in spite of the potential conflict?

hmmmm sounds expensive to me. I also suspect a stall tactic. but why?
