What is the name of your state? California

If the ex-wife remarries, does her new husbands income have any effect on the child support amount/calculation?

No, and if the ex-husband remarries, his new spouses income has nothing to do with child support either. The bio-parents are the only ones who are responsible for supporting the child(ren).

However, CA law states that if a person is voluntarily unemployed or underemployed (extreme circumstances) a spouses income can be considered in figuring support, but a new spouse will not be garnished.
