What is the name of your state? California
The DA dosn't seem to be very effective in collecting from a non-custodial parent that is $30,000 in arrears. There is no wage assignment because he works "under the table" and they say they have notified DMV for license suspension. And since he dosn't pay taxes the tax lean is pointless.
Is there more leaglly that can be done? He's obviously in contempt of a civil court order, which he signed, stating he would provide child support and health insurance. Is there threat of jail time or something else that will "encourage" him to pay and provide his obligation?
