Search around for a less expensive atty.....but in the meanwhile you need to try to provide proof that she is denying visitation. If you have no proof and you have to go to court it will be her word against yours....which will most likely be...she will say you never tried to get visitation. I am in a similiar situation, but there is no court order for me yet. Send her certified letters stating the time and date that you will pick up the child. That way you will have proof that you sent it and tried and she received it and failed to comply. Also, if possible, take someone, a witness with you when you try to utilize you visitation order. They can be your witness in court. Also, you can call the police and have them escort you there to pick up your child. They will most likely not force her to give you the child but they can provide futile documentation for you in court. After you have a substantial number of contempts(her refusing to let you see the child, thus violating the court order) take her to court. You want to make sure all your ducks are in order before you tackle her, that way the judge will clearly see that she is refusing you access to the child and therefore discouraging a loving and cummunicative relationship between father and child. I don't know how the court systems work in your area, but you might have to do this more than once...but if all prevails, you will ge to see your child and if she keeps up denying, she might even lose custody. Also, check the phone laws in your state and try to record her saying no.
