What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Illinois

What right would the custodial parent be giving up if they changed the from full legal and full physical custody to split legal and full physical custody?
Or where could I find online lists of these rights and responsibilities?

full legal gives them the sole rights in making all decisions related to medical, educational, religious, etc unless specifically stated otherwise in the papers or while in visitation with the other parent. Joint legal means both parents have equal say in matters concerning the child- medical, etc. Sole legal is very rare. Going to joint legal wouldn't change much day to day stuff but could effect the BIG things. Such as whether to send the child to a private school, get counseling, have elective surgery, hold them back a grade, etc
