I am waiting for my ex to settle/finalize our custody agreement. Meanwhile, my ex is moving out of state to Georgia. Previously, we had a joint-custody agreement where we met half way to exchange the child. We are "suppossedly" settling on an agreement, where I have full custody and my ex has visitation and will pay child support. With the new custody agreement, will I have to still meet my ex half way? This would cost me a couple hundred a month in gas and it was my ex's decision to move. Any thoughts???

if she is the one moving, you should include in the order that she is responsible for all of the additional transportation

Generally the parent who moves is the parent who is responsible for the additional travel costs. It can vary however if there are significant income differentials. Obviously, some of the visitation that you have in mind may not be workable if the two of you don't meet half way. Therefore you are going to have to figure out how to fairly balance those costs. If you can't, you may need to have the judge decide.

Generally the parent moving is responsible for transportation costs.

Unless an order tells you to meet halfway since you did not move, you should not have too.
