I would like to know what is the Texas law regarding the home study that are required for a non custody parent for the purpose of having a visitation rights? if that were the case.

Home studies are usually done in adoption situations or situations in which the state has gotten involved because of abuse or neglect of a child.

I doubt that home studies are done merely for visitation purposes in a dissolution.

The purpose of a home study is to see if the environment and the people in it are fit for the presence of children.
