just how enforcable is this phone visitation?

indiana,my ex[ncp]moved out of state,he was granted this statement{IS"ALLOWED"to call child every saturday at 6 pm}
this has not worked for us,i have [KEPT A LOG] for every saturday when he did or didnt call, when we were or were not home.. 2yrs old,just now 3.so some advice please for when he yells [contempt] cause of not talking to this young child on the phone??[every] sat.come on??

if the court order states that he is allowed the time for phone visitation - then you have to be there to allow it. if you are not there and he attempts it, then you are interferring with his phone visitation. this is a contempt charge in the making.

if he is not being reliable with the visitation, then you need to start documenting the visitation calls. be there. when he doesn't call, log it. if he does call and it is later - log it.

then you attempt to modify the order. you need to be able to show to a judge that he is not exercising this visitation. be able to show him that you have stayed home and re-arranged your schedule so that he was able to exercise the visitaion and he hasn't. just remember, you will most likely be going in front of the judge who set the phone visitation and basically telling him that he screwed up. so do so with kid gloves.
