What consitutes child abandonment in California? Mom's out and about, leaving 2 year old with father. He is providing 100% support financially, emotionally, and every which way. She appears to have no interest - not even on his birthday. Parents are not married. No legal action (i.e. custody) has been taken yet. Thank you.
