My attorney filed a petition in district court to modify orders for child support 2 years ago. We never went forward with the suit, and the petition to modify is on the dismissal docket.

I live in a very small community and I am wondering if I can continue the case without my lawyer.

How hard, or stupid would it be for me to represent myself?
I am not a lawyer, but not uneducated. Is this something I can do myself?

Thanks

does your state or county have a child support division?
in indiana they do and they handle all child support issues. check into it...start out with your prosecuting atty office. there might be a small fee but it is worth it.
