I currently live in Kansas and I'm looking at moving to another state for employment purposes. Currently I have full residential and legal custody of my 13 year old daughter. The mother does not have to pay any child support. There is nothing defined in the custody papers regarding visitation for times or days. The only thing defined about visitation is that it may be a supervised visit at my discretion and that the mothers current boyfriend (by name) is not to be involved in parenting time. The mother and my daughter have not spoken in months and probably will not change in the immediate near future. I know that by law I have to notify that non-custodial parent in writting that I am moving and where I am moving to. Is there anything else I have to do to fulfill my obligations as a parent. Thank you for your input.
